We have an immediate opening for an Apprentice Engineer for an office building on the North side of Houston. Ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring basic building operations, (in-house training) of mechanical equipment and operational assignments from Lead Engineer to include any duties or projects assigned by, Property Manager, Assistant Property Manager, Lead or Facility Engineer or management office. Candidate will be responsible for reading and recording electric / water, meter readings, (work and maintain w/o and PMS software) preventive maintenance tasks and maintain equipment log readings, i.e., Fire pump, Emergency Generator, Water Treatment, etc. Notify management of any potential problem or existing condition that could cause mechanical failure or personal harm.

No experience necessary although basic building maintenance and operations is preferred. Basic knowledge of air conditioning/heating, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and pneumatic controls and various HVAC Systems is a plus. Computer basic literacy is preferred.

Position reports directly to Property Manager and Lead Engineer.

Strong communication skills, honesty and a team mentality are a must! The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, a multi-tasker, flexible to an ever changing environment, and can work within strict deadlines with the utmost professionalism.

Flexibility with overtime is required for this position.

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Experienced Engineer Needed – West side location

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Engineer for a three (3) building complex (566,000 sqft) on the West side of Houston. The candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, monitoring all building operations and maintenance of mechanical equipment. Coordination between staff, tenants and property management personnel is of the utmost importance. Perform and record preventative maintenance tasks, maintain equipment log readings, fire pump, emergency generator, water treatment, etc. Notify supervisor of any potential problems or existing condition that could cause mechanical failure or personal harm.
A minimum of ten (10) years experience in all phases of building maintenance and operations is required. Knowledge of basic air conditioning/heating, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and Pneumatic Controls and various HVAC systems is required. Candidates must have basic computer skills

Position reports directly to Senior Property Manager, Director of Engineering and/or other appropriate person.
